South Coast House

The complete renovation of this 1960s Cape house reorganized the interior plan to accommodate a resident who requires a wheelchair. A new deck extension and integrated ramp provide accessible entry, while a seated-height railing supports comfortable outdoor use and family gatherings.












Baltz House

This 1950s Craftsman home in Sonoma, California had a small, dark interior that no longer met the needs of an aging occupant. The interior was reconfigured to create an open kitchen, an accessible bathroom, an expanded laundry area, widened doorways, and a large operable skylight. During construction, long-covered redwood flooring was uncovered and refinished, restoring a key material feature of the original house.













Westford House

This addition extends the living area into the landscape and connects to the existing deck. A minimal wood frame maximizes views and winter sun, while high-performance glazing and operable doors support thermal comfort and controlled ventilation.







Birchwood House

This remodel reconfigured the kitchen and dining areas through a series of structural interventions aimed at improving access to southern light and lake views. Two new beams replaced load-bearing walls, transforming a previously enclosed interior into an open, light-filled space with a stronger relationship between kitchen and dining.
