This 1950’s craftsman house in Sonoma, CA had a small and dark interior which was unsuitable for an aging inhabitant. We reframed the interior layout to provide an open kitchen, accessible bathroom, expanded laundry area, widened doorways, as well as add a large operable skylight. During the construction process, the long-covered redwood flooring was rediscovered and refinished.
